Welcome to Mauro Bianco Levrin's
Suzuki Guitar Center of Turin
Thank you for visiting this small but hopefully significant website.
Mauro Bianco Levrin was born in Turin (Piemonte, Italy), and graduated from the State Music Conservatory of Italy. He has specialised in performance techniques of early 19 Century music and in Suzuki pedagogy.
The development of his work over the years, led him to form the “Piccola Orchestra Suzuki Chitarrambina” , an ensemble of young children from 5 to 11 years old. It is clear from the ensemble’s name that this small group is in fact the result of the same method which was founded and developed over the past century by the renowned Japanese pedagogue, Dr. Shinichi Suzuki.
This teaching method has had increasing impact at a world-wide level, thanks to both its musical and educational results in moulding the personality of the child, and to its fundamental belief that all children have ability which can be developed to a very high level.
In addition to working as a general music teacher for the Sacred Heart Institute in his native Turin, Mauro Bianco Levrin also served as a jury member on numerous occasions for the Academy of Classical Guitar International Competition in Milan (Italy),
His students from 7 to 15 years of age also form part of the "Ensemble Chitarristico Federico Caudana" and of the octet "I Solisti di Chitarrambina", as well as the original "Piccola Orchestra Suzuki Chitarrambina".
The groups have frequently performed in public, both at home and abroad, and have participated in several national and international competitions, placing first, second or third in their category on each occasion (click here for a detailed list).

Dear Mauro, I have watched the orchestra video and some of the little soloists: What can one say? They are very good.
So many things stand out - the group precision, the sound, the clarity of the tessitura – but above all, it is striking that these
young children can already make music at an excellent level. My warmest congratulations on the development of your work,
and thank you for everything you are doing for our instrument.

All children are born with enormous potential which allows them to easily assimilate everything
which is put in their path. The environment surrounding the child is of utmost importance.
The parents’ role is not only the base for physical development,
but also for mental, spiritual and psychological qualities.
